We know that the holidays are a time for indulgence, and we are all for everything that comes with the season, including the seemingly endless holiday cookies and treats. That’s why we’re here with some original EQ Holiday Recipes, and the best part? In this blog post, we’ll share four delectable and nutritious holiday-themed recipes that incorporate Daily Nutri-Greens, ensuring you can indulge in the joys of the season, while getting a little extra boost from your holiday treats at the same time.

Cranberry Orange Scones

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Equilibria Daily Nutri-Greens
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • Zest of one orange
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture and use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs.
